We source the best and most unusual blooms from trusted growers and nurture flowers in our own garden. No matter what time of year, there is always something wonderful to forage for.

Flowers have always been a complete sensory experience for me and remain a constant source of joy. As a child, I vividly remember nurturing flowers with my Mother, having my own little patch to plant Daisies, Forget-me-nots and Rock Rose and feeling great excitement watching them grow, seeing their colours pop against a changing English sky, hearing the bees collecting pollen and smelling the sweet scents that eventually filled the tiny kitchen. Every inch of the table and window sills were covered with bud vases and old perfume bottles, overflowing with stems and blooms. I loved that ever changing table as much as the grander arrangements in the other rooms. My flower inspiration and vision for ‘The Frayed Queen’ reflect those early memories, along with my love of the Arts, Renaissance Italy, French Antiques, and London Style, ala Westwood & McQueen! After completing my course at the prestigious ‘Tallulah Rose Flower School’, I feel I am back in my Mothers garden with the flower world at my feet and I would love to share that and create something wonderful for you.

Since I can remember, I am most happy and content when immersed in nature. As a child, I was fascinated with the wonders of our garden; standing under the lovely rose pergola where birds would nest, dipping my hand into the murky pond to try and coax a frog out, and feeding tiny hedgehogs who were passing through. I still enjoy the peacefulness of a woodland and continue to campaign for the welfare of marine life. I have enjoyed success as an actor, both on stage in classical productions and on screen in independent films and commercials. Mentoring professional actors and working as a freelance business consultant is also very rewarding work, but being my Mother’s business partner is an immense joy. My love of film noir, androgynous style and modern art bring a dark, sophisticated side to our designs.
